We were all really excited when we thought that we might actually get 7 inches of snow. I don't ever remember having that much snow. Well, we were a little disappointed this morning when we didn't have the 7 inches, but were still impressed with the 4 or 5 inches that we do have. It's the most snow we have had in a while. Well except for in 2003 when Nashville got a the big snow, but unfortunately Philip and I were in college in Cookeville. We were so excited because Cookeville usually gets more snow than Nashville ever does, but not that time. Cookeville didn't really get anything.
Keegan was lucky enough to see this much snow in only his second year of life. Philip just had to take him out in it. I stayed inside where it was nice and warm. He didn't really like the snow at first. He wasn't heavy enough to sink through so it was difficult for him to walk. However, he eventually got used to it, and loved the snow. He got excited when he was able to break through and make the snow "crunch". He and Philip even made snow angels.
I love watching it snow. It is truly a beautiful sight outside. Everything is covered with white snow. I am usually saddened when others start going outside and "messing up" the snow, but the neighbors have been outside all morning sledding down the hill and you can't even tell. That means there is a lot of snow.
Another memory for our family...
